
Linda Hock
2017 Woman of the Year
Linda Hock – Chicago Chapter Linda retired in October 2016 after twenty-one years of service to the Chicago Southshore and South Bend Railroad. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and holds an Executive Management Certificate from the University of Notre Dame. Linda joined NARBW in June 2006. She has served as Scholarship Chairman, Secretary and Vice President and is currently President of the Chicago Chapter. She was instrumental in reviving the Chicago Chapter; increasing their membership to 62. Linda volunteers at the University of Notre Dame Women’s Basketball games and summer camps. Proceeds from merchandise sales are donated to the Foundation of Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center for Secret Sisters Society. She also volunteers at the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame in Knoxville, TN and she helps her church with donations to the Share Foundation of Handicapped Individuals. In her spare time, Linda belongs to a jazz group that plays for benefits and assisted living centers and nursing homes for the elderly.
