Michele Williams brings a wealth of experience in financial management, payroll administration, and strategic budgeting. With over three decades in payroll, Michele has developed deep expertise in compensation structures and benefits administration, and compliance—skills that seamlessly translate into her leadership roles in financial stewardship.

Since 2015, Michele has been an integral part of Anacostia Rail Holdings, where she has played a key role in streamlining payroll operations and benefits management. As the Manager of Payroll and Employee Benefits, she has ensured efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in financial processes, helping maintain a strong foundation for the company’s workforce.

 

Her extensive knowledge in payroll and auditing has also shaped her work as Treasurer of the National Association of Railway Business Women. Serving as the Chicago Chapter Treasurer for 10 years and the National Treasurer for four, Michele applies her expertise to safeguard financial integrity, optimize resources, and ensure responsible financial management for the organization. Her ability to navigate complex financial systems and implement best practices strengthens NARBW’s stability and long-term sustainability.

 

Michele joined NARBW because she believes in the importance of sisterhood within the railroad industry. From childhood experiences to professional milestones, her dedication to charitable, benevolent, and social welfare projects—as well as the financial well-being of NARBW—is deeply rooted in her journey.
